This positioner uses proprietary vacuum technology to hug and secure patients to the correct position. When the positioner is activated with suction, millions of flexible beads will conform to the contours of the animal's anatomy providing a high degree of precision and security. The surface material is designed to prevent conduction, convective, and radiant patient heat loss. It is also comfortable to resist pressure sores.

    Testimonials

“There are many important aspects of surgery and proper positioning and stabilization is one. We find the veterinary positioners to be durable and reliable. They have the greatest longevity of any positioner we have used and would recommend them.”

    – Karl Kraus, DVM, MS Professor and Head Small Animal Surgery Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine

“The animal positioner is a valuable tool in our operating room. It affords excellent patient positioning. It works well with the myriad of shapes and sizes of veterinary patients. It is reliable and simple to use. Thanks for making a great product.”

    – Tanja Nuhsbaum, DVM, MS, DACVO Animal Eye Specialists Englewood, Colorado

“We used to position animals with towels, mattress pads, tape, etc. during every laboratory period. Now we use the vacuum activated positioners. We use the in-line suction from the scavenger interface of the anesthesia machine to evacuate the positioner. Done in a matter of seconds. Efficient and painless.”

    – Thomas Riebold, DVM, DACVA Professor of Anesthesiology College of Veterinary Medicine Oregon State University

    How it Works

Use the manual vacuum pump or inline suction until the positioner is firm to provide secure support for the patient. When satisfied with the achieved support, press the metal thumb latch to close the evacuation valve and detach the vacuum hose from the barbed end of the evacuation valve.
